Join us we travel to the wilderness frontier starting in Fairbanks Alaska!

We will fly into Fairbanks on May 19th, 2023. We will be shuttled to our hotel upon arrival. This is first class service all the way. Your bags will be delivered to your room and picked up every day for your convenience. Breakfast is provided everyday for you at every hotel. Our last time in Alaska we found this to be very expensive, so we included it for you. This is a tremendous savings to everyone on this trip.

Day 1

Arrive in Fairbanks

Arrive in Fairbanks, the Golden Heart City. Upon arrival into Fairbanks, we will be met by a local representative and transfer to our local hotel. Overnight Fairbanks. No Meals Included Today

Day 2

River travel!

Breakfast will be included this morning. Today, experience the thrill of river travel aboard a Sternwheeler as we travel along the Chena River. See a local sled dog team in action and visit the Chena Indian Village. This afternoon enjoys a local city tour of Fairbanks featuring the Morris Thompson Visitor Center, the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, and the Antique Auto Museum. Dinner will be included this evening. Overnight Fairbanks. Meals Breakfast, Dinner

Day 3

Denali and Sled Dogs

This morning we will travel by coach to the town of Denali, gateway to Denali National Park. Upon arrival into Denali, enjoy a visit to the Denali Visitors Center for a unique look into what you will see on your park tour. Lunch will be included today. Later, enjoy an included visit to a local Musher’s Kennel where you will have a chance to hear tales from the trail, and meet an Iditarod Sled Dog Team. Dinner will be included this evening. Overnight Denali. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4

Tundra Wilderness Tour

Today, travel into Denali National Park abord a Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the vast wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals as well as the flora and fauna of this spectacular region. A box lunch is included on board. There will be time for optional excursions. Tonight, enjoy dinner and a show at the Cabin Nite Dinner Theater. Overnight Denali. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5

Rail tour to Talkeetna

Free morning to explore the lodge or walk around the town of Denali. After, transfer to the Denali Rail Depot where you will board your Deluxe Dome Rail south to the town of Talkeetna. En-route you will pass through tundra, snowcapped mountains, and old growth forests. Lunch included on board. Arrive at the quaint town of Talkeetna and be amazed by the towns historic feel. Dinner included at the hotel tonight. Overnight Talkeetna Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6

Wilderness jet boat experience

This morning, board the Wilderness Jetboat Experience, and travel the Susitna River in search of amazing views of Mt. Denali and the Alaskan Range. After, have free time to walk around the Town of Talkeetna and have lunch on own. Later, meet back with your tour guide and driver and travel south for a scenic transfer to the Matanuska Valley where you will have a chance to visit a local Musk Ox Farm. After the farm tour transfer further south to Alaska’s largest city, Anchorage. Dinner included tonight.

Day 7

Anchorage city tour

Today, enjoy an included Anchorage City Tour featuring the historic downtown area, Lake Hood where 190+ floatplanes takeoff and land daily (While at lake hood enjoy an included stop at the Alaska Aviation Museum, and then Earthquake Park to learn about the 1964 Earthquake. Lunch on own in Anchorage then head over to the Alaska Native Heritage Center to learn about Alaska’s native population and how they have survived off the land for thousands of years. Dinner included tonight.

Day 8

Seward and embarkation

Today, transfer south to the coastal community of Seward. Upon arrival we will be transferred to the small boat harbor where you will board a marine vessel and travel deep into Kenai Fjords National Park. Explore the face of a glacier, and be on the lookout for whales, sea lions, otters, puffins, and more. Lunch is included on board. Upon your return into Seward, it will be time to say goodbye to your local Tour Director as you are transfer to the Seward Cruise Terminal for embarkation. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch on Boat

This trip Costs includes Flight, transportation in Alaska, all TIPS, and Gratuities, Except for (DUTCH MEALS). Those meals not included in the trip description.

Meals Included: Breakfasts-7; Lunches-5; Dinners-6; One dinner is a add on from us to YOU for going with us, which is normally priced at over $75 per person, and not a usual option to pre-pay. It’s in the Denali Village called Cabin Night. Many have gone who were with us before and loved it.
